Who is Apollo? In 2011, our founder and president, Danielle Stewart, picked up a foster dog - her first - in desperate need of help. The dog, Colleen, was pregnant with nine puppies, covered in ticks, and injured from dog fights.
Two weeks later, Colleen had her puppies. Unfortunately, all the puppies were lost but one, and Colleen did not make it. The last puppy was named Apollo, and as the only survivor of his family, he inspired Danielle to start Apollo Support & Rescue so more animals could have the second chance they deserve. Apollo is now 10 years old and lives a beautiful life with Danielle. Thanks to his incredible story, Apollo Support & Rescue has saved thousands of animals - BIG or small, we love them all! |

More About Us
Apollo Support and Rescue is an accredited and certified 501c3 non-profit organization. All of your donations are tax deductible.
Our organization consists of a 5-acre facility in Justin, TX and foster homes throughout the DFW area. We rescue dogs and cats of all ages and breeds.
We also sponsor a team called PHAST: Project Homeless Apollo Street Team. This team of volunteers helps vaccinate and feed animals in some of the homeless camps in downtown Fort Worth. Apollo also donates food to a local Justin Church weekly, and when we can, we help families in need of food or medical care.
